Mount Towrong Nebbiolo Rosa 2016
Nebbiolo is traditionally grown in the hills of the Piedmont region in Italy. Nebbiolo is a challenging, low cropping variety that produces fruit of high flavour intensity.
This dry style rose displays the lovely aromas and flavours of strawberries and cream with fresh red cherry. The textured palate has great length and a refreshing clean finish.
The 2016 growing season was a mild, dry growing season. Yields for this season were lower than usual, but the small parcels of fruit allowed us to produce a wine with good flavour intensity, and backbone.
